Are you coming on a trip?

Welcome to my world and my story.

This blog is late, but it's here. I will tell you friend that this is not a travel blog, if it is what you are looking for, turn around, this is a blog of reflections, it goes further.

I will not tell you what to visit, but I will talk about social problems, sensations, stories, solidarity, experiences, humanity...

about what cultures and especially people teach me.

You are in a safe, intimate place, where sooner or later you will feel identified with some of my reflections. Ready to go further?

DO WE TRAVEL WELL?

Diseño sin título.jpg

Are Human Rights a decisive factor when choosing a destination? How many countries have you visited that are not a democracy? Have you visited countries with poverty and/or child prostitution? (Did you see it? Did you bring help?). Have you seen unfair situations up close? Do you inform yourself about this before visiting a country? And does it then condition your itinerary or activities there?

When traveling means kneeling in front of the monster of the tourism industry, which tells us which place to visit and which not.

Which place is dangerous and which is not. That puts a price on hospitality and identity, that's when the trip does not humanize.

.

TRAVELING IS PRECIOUS, LET'S DO IT WELL <3

Even when you show everything, you reveal very little.jpg

MY NAME IS LEIRE

I'm Leire, Bilbao, restless and traveler I guess.

First of all, I'll tell you that I have no idea of writing a blog, but when you feel like you have a lot to say,

you don't stop at all.

My parents took me to Colombia when I was 3 years old, since then I have not stopped traveling,

with them and on my own.

The luck of being able to have known so many cultures and so many realities has taught me a lot about humanity, and as I see that tourism alienates us and dissociates us more and more, I come to tell you what no one tells you.

As my father always says, the key is to admire, not judge and empathize.

MY LITTLE MANIFESTO

I like boats empty of people, leaders who want to change things, people without complexes, people involved, I like people who embrace the world, Mondays full of dreams, I like the world well distributed, I like people full of stories, people who dare, diversity, and people who love without fear and if you like these things too, I like YOU too.

Drop me a few lines, what do you think?

Thank you guapx!
